How Does Chiropractic Care Work?

Chiropractic care is administered hands-on in a safe, effective manner to realign the spine and relieve neck pain, back pain, inflammation, and numerous other conditions without the need for surgery or extensive medication.

Several conventional chiropractic techniques are utilized by Dr. Diaz to restore and improve function in a person's neck, back, and other joints as well as the neuromusculoskeletal system.

The different techniques are:

  • Manual Muscle Manipulation
  • Diversified
  • Gonstead
  • Activator
  • Spinal Decompression

There are multiple chiropractic techniques because everyone responds differently, so treatment is personalized to fit each patient's level of pain, type of injury, age, and existing medical conditions.

A preliminary physical examination may reveal the underlying cause for a person’s pain, suffering, or discomfort. Be aware that many serious conditions start off only as a minor discomfort, and it is always best to catch the condition early before it worsens and severely limits mobility.

Manual Adjustments – Dr. Diaz’s Specialty

Dr. Diaz's primary method of adjustment is the swift use of his hands to manipulate and correct the alignment of the spine.

Patients are frequently surprised at how simple, fast, and effective manual chiropractic adjustments can obtain results.

It may seem intimidating at first, but after a few minutes of receiving adjustments you will discover how gentle and painless each experience is with Dr. Diaz.

Many patients also comment about how smooth and easy the adjustment felt. In some cases, patients don't feel anything when the adjustments are performed.

Most patients prefer the traditional type of manual adjustment once they find out how safe and comfortable it can be under Dr. Diaz’s experienced hands.
